De-Stress Acupuncture in the Workplace

What is De-Stress Acupuncture?  &  How will your employees benefit?

De-Stress Acupuncture is a type of acupuncture where 5 needles are placed in each ear.  The 5 needles act to balance the whole body, mind, and spirit.  Stimulation of these acupuncture points releases endorphins and works on an energetic level to influence blood flow, emotions, the mental state, and spiritual energy.  As a result, participants feel relaxed & centered, yet alert.  It reduces anxiety, depression, fears, cravings, and increases motivation and mental stability.  Participants report improved ability to concentrate and retain material.

How will your business benefit?

Staff at the Texas Mental Health and Mental Retardation center reported a 30% drop in sick-leave as well as a 25% drop in employee turnover.  Employees who are more relaxed and have a greater ability to concentrate, tend to be more productive.  Investing in your employees well-being means investing in your business.

Logistics:  Where are the treatments done and how long do they take?

The treating acupuncturist would need a quiet room with comfortable chairs for participants.  Treatments are done in a group setting since there is an increased level of healing with group energy.  Treatments may last between 20-45 minutes depending on the availability of the employees.  It is recommended that weekly treatments be administered for maximum effect.

What is the Cost?

Each treatment cost $15.00 per person.  If a business would like weekly/monthly visits, an arrangement can be made to lower the cost depending on the number of employees participating.

Who pays for the treatments?

Employers may cover the entire cost of the treatments as an employee benefit, or some businesses prefer that employees pay for all or a percentage of the cost of each treatment.
