If the Bladder Official is struggling, toxins and waste products can build in the system-bladder infections, edema, etc… The bladder meridian in longest meridian-this reminds us of how important water balance is in the body. We must have enough water for fluidity of the mind-so thoughts and ideas can flow. The fluid that is provided and balanced by this official is what makes all the officials able to have movement. Kidney: “The Official Who Controls the Waterways”: The Kidney Official controls the waterways as well as a cleansing effect on the whole body, mind, and spirit. This official dispatches water to where ever it is needed. The Kidney is where are ancestral energy is stored. This is where energy comes from when we are pushed to our limits. On a physical level, this energy gives us strength and stamina to sustain our lives. On mental and/or spirit level, it gives us the will to go on when times are hard.
