Heart: “Supreme Controller”: Strong connection between love and caring (red and Valentine’s Day). Heart is the deepest organ in the body and considered to be our internal Sun, which provides us with a Fire from within. The best emperor is one who does all by non-action/doing and is open to the flow of the Dao. Its’ job is to stay open to receive, remain clear and unaffected.
Small Intestine: “The Official Who Separates Pure from Impure”: In order for the Supreme Controller to function well, it needs pure energy. The Small Intestine is like a secretary: quality control/alchemist. Like a secretary screening calls for a boss. It provides the necessary information to the heart, takes care of trivial information. Screens all incoming information.
Circulation/Sex: “Heart Protector”: Has to do with our ability to be open and communicate with others. Protects the emperor (heart) since it is so open. Also, known as Pericardium.
Triple Heater: “Official in Charge of Three Burning Spaces”: Temperature control. We need warmth to connect/relate to others. We need warmth on a body, mind, & spirit level. Helps to be in charge of the communication that comes in and out of the heart and other officials.
